Account manager

We are looking for a driven, communicative and energetic new team member to join us in our mission to help science move faster.

This role is an opportunity to work directly with leading universities and research organizations, building strong client relationships while also ensuring the smooth running of key internal operations.

About you:

  • You are interested in account management, customer success, or a client-facing role – ideally within R&D or Science in general.
  • You are comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders, building trust, and turning feedback into actionable improvements.
  • You are organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • You thrive in a dynamic, growing company where responsibilities can evolve quickly.
  • You are an excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills and fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Bonus: you’ve had exposure to operational or administrative responsibilities (lab or project management, vendor relations, etc.) and are happy to roll up your sleeves while we continue to grow.

What you will do:

  • Account management & customer success
    • Act as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring they gain full value from LabOrders.
    • Build long-term relationships with senior stakeholders at leading research institutions.
    • Gather client feedback, identify opportunities, and collaborate with our product and operations teams to deliver improvements.
    • Support onboarding and training of new clients.
  • Operation & internal support (initially)
    • Manage selected administrative processes (e.g. invoicing, financial updates, vendor catalog pipeline, internal records).
    • Support marketing and communication efforts (e.g. newsletters, manuals, social media).
    • Contribute to keeping our office and team organized and effective

Over time, as the company grows, the operational responsibilities will transition into dedicated roles – enabling you to focus even more on client relationships.
